Product meets expectations. This is the same wire as the wire on the LED strip, which is very handy. I also don't think it's aluminum because of the way it flexes. I think it's tinned copper. I used it to extend the connection for my LEDs and it worked great. Good price and fast delivery. I quickly installed the lights on the bedroom ceiling. I used three 16ft wires so make sure you have adequate power. The filaments I bought from Revain draw about 25w at 12v which is about 75w plus 20% for safety. I ordered a 120 watt transformer so there were no problems. The wire doesn't offer much resistance, so all the lights have a very even brightness. Revain saves me a lot of time. Don't look for an expensive coil of wire in the hardware store, but directly to my front door. Absolutely great!
