Bought the StarTech USB32HDPRO to add a third display to a 2014 MacBook Air running Mojave 10.14.1. I connected a display (27 inch Samsung) to the MacBook's Thunderbolt port and used StarTech to connect a second Samsung monitor (and a third display). Downloading drivers and installation software from the StarTech website was an easy task, I chose the kit for my work. System. I screwed up the last installation step by not giving my MacBook secure access to the drivers. 1 wrong click. My mistake. StarTech Technical Support patiently walked me through the troubleshooting process and helped with the screen setup. (Tech support gets a separate 5 star rating, no need to wait long, clear instructions and very patient). Being able to work with big screens really makes a big difference and this device makes it really easy. Very satisfied.
