I've been using this adapter for about a month now and I'm not very happy with it. Mac laptop that I have connected to two external monitors. One HDMI > Thunderbolt. Bought the StarTech USB32HDPRO to add a third display to a 2014 MacBook Air running Mojave 10.14.1. I connected a display (27 inch Samsung) to the MacBook's Thunderbolt port and used StarTech to connect a second Samsung monitor (and a third display).
