I've been using this adapter for about a month now and I'm not very happy with it. Mac laptop that I have connected to two external monitors. One HDMI > Thunderbolt. I've never had a problem with any of the monitors on this cable. I use this adapter to connect a second external monitor. If it works it's ok. The problem is when it doesn't work. The screen connected via this adapter freezes for about 10 seconds and then goes completely black for about 5 seconds, after which it works again. At first I thought it might be a problem with the monitor, so I tried using this adapter with a different monitor and the problem just shifted with the adapter. I don't know why the adapter does this, but it's so annoying. This happens six to seven times an hour. I really can't stress enough how annoying this is. Very dissatisfied with this $65 POS
