Just received, super fast delivery from Amazon. After reading some success stories about using this adapter to run a third monitor on Macs M1. I just wanted to share my setup in case anyone has any doubts about this adapter. As you can see in the attached screenshot, I'm using an LG 1440p monitor, an LG 4k monitor and a Dell 1080p monitor. I was worried that my setup might not work as I originally planned to use this adapter on a 24" Dell in 270 degree mode. Since it's only rated for 1080p, I figured that would make the most sense. But since DisplayLink doesn't support it yet, I've got an LG 1440p running from it. I thought it would be a bit washed out at 1080p, but kept low, I can run it at 1440p and it's crisp! As seen in my second photo, you have the option to select "Show all resolutions" and 2560x1440p is an option! The downside is that it only runs at 50Hz, a shame as the monitor can go up to 165, but I'll take what I can. The movement is smooth and definitely works for my purposes. It's definitely a must-have if you need to run 3 monitors with an M1 Mac Mini. And I'm running the base model with just 8 gigabytes of RAM.
