Where necessary I trimmed off the excess taper of the adapter to ensure a perfect fit. So far I have connected Dewalt.

I am buying these adapters to connect my Shop Vac to various power tool dust collection ports. Where necessary I trimmed off the excess taper of the adapter to ensure a perfect fit. So far I've hooked up a Dewalt DW705 miter saw, a 10" Kobalt table saw, and a 12" Shop Fox bench drill. I also created a dust bin to sit between these tools and the vacuum cleaner using this adapter.
