I used this to capture gameplay from my WiiU; It runs up to 60 fps at 720p and 30 fps at 1080p. I could see it in VLC and OBS just by plugging it into my HTPC. It doesn't have hardware encoding, so you'll need to code with your CPU or GPU (depending on what hardware your PC has). For me it was a breeze with my 1700x for WiiU recording. Quality is good for streaming or saving gameplay, and lag is minimal (though not non-existent). After half an hour the box was lukewarm but didn't burn, which is good. Overall it worked for what I wanted so can't really complain. If this review helped you at all; Please mark it as useful! Thanks very much!
