These headphones have many mixed reviews and I can see that they are understandable for certain reasons, but I think the positive aspects of these headphones outweigh the negative. It has a little cable noise which is annoying for some, but it's not too bad for me and the mic doesn't pick it up. The headphones have a premium feel and the extension cords feel solid and clicky. They are very comfortable and snug to the head due to the fairly strong clamping force (it might be too tight for some) and the padding is thick, soft and plush with a soft-touch velor material on the surface of the padding. Fits me and fully covers my large ears. The microphone is excellent, sounds full and natural. The sound is amazing. They're easy to hook up, so almost anything can drive them, as long as they have a decent amp/DAC. It has full, clean, punchy bass, due in part to the tightness it produces, the open, clear mids and bright, detailed highs. Ideal for music and games. These are closed headphones but they sound very open and clear, not as big as open ones but great for closed ones. This is an amazing headset. It's 5 stars for me, but I have to give 4 because of the flaws. Pros: Really good sound, easy power supply, tons of noise isolation, great mic, very comfortable and good build quality. Cons: Pretty bad cable noise, clamping force is a bit tight so big heads can take it. The volume wheel could be better/different.
