I carry needle nose pliers to work every day and use them for almost everything. One thing I use them for is opening reels. I open it, hook it on the cap and use a lot of force to unscrew the cap. I bent the smaller pliers but these seem to hold up. They are narrower, which allows you to get into tighter spaces. As a perfectionist, I don't like one tip being a bit thicker than the other. The blades are of good quality and cut well. I can't say anything bad about them. Water pump pliers are the worst offenders. It seems that perhaps the hinge of one of the casting adjustments wasn't done right. They can still be used at this point, but there is a little friction that I don't condone. Each tool had some form of wear outside of the packaging. All of this will probably happen soon, so I don't mind too much. Overall they are good and durable enough for regular use. Although I would probably upgrade if I used them every day.
