I recommend buying to anyone who is limited to a FullHD monitor or close to it in resolution. Has pros: A very balanced product. Never before has a middle-end from a green company competed in performance with a pre-top and top-end card of the previous generation. Never before has the middle-end had such a small difference of ~18% with the pre-top card in the current generation. For a FullHD monitor, this card is just right. For higher resolution monitors, it is better to prefer 2070, and for 4K - 2080. In WarThunder on "Movie" 110 fps without overclocking in DirectX11 and 120 in Vulkan. Different cons: The ray tracing capabilities, although implemented in hardware, do not work at all in any renderer other than DirectX12. If you are a user of other operating systems, except for "tens", you get just a very fast device, but without tracing. I can't classify the cost as a disadvantage, since everything is known in comparison, and 1070Ti, 1080, Vega 64 cards with comparable performance are currently more expensive.
