Review on 🏕️ BG520W: American Designed RV Exterior LED Flood Porch Light with Switchable Color Modes - Long-Life, Bright 220 Lumen Amber or 520 Lumen White Light by Emili Hudson

As always, I did a lot of research and selected this porch light for my 2018 Grand Design 297RSTS travel trailer. Wiring is always an issue, but I was able to trace speaker wire placement on the sliding side of the door. Pulled out the radio (inside) above the TV and also removed the chimney to gain access to lower the new cable. I measured where the speaker wire came out (seen from the radio side) and drilled a hole for a new porch light. Bingo, the hole was visible from the radio jack and routed the wire out and behind the fireplace and routed over the same spot as the slide wiring. I had porch wire and zip ties wrapped around the factory rails and it worked perfectly. The wires to open and close the slide and porch move in and out just like the factory wires. From there the underbelly was pulled down (this takes a long time), pulled up and through the mechanical compartment, and pulled through the false back panel to the switch panel. Added and discontinued light switches for $5. Went back to the new 12v socket and added a fuse. It took only 10 minutes to install the fixture and then high quality high temperature silicon for Arizona summer use. This light matches my black speakers like it came from the factory! This thing is rock solid and waterproof. I'm blown away by the spacer issues I've read about as it only took me an extra 30 seconds to make sure they were all the way in. After I insert it, it stays in place to replace the lens cap. Simply squeeze the lid to release the bottom tab and it snaps firmly into place. Perfect setup and I'll check it out. The instructions say what to test before installing. The white light was not on. I call Revane's number and Greg answers after one ring. I tell him about my problem and he asks to look at the connection to the board. I'm so excited to do this because I love crafting and bug fixing. I do this and still no white but amber was good. I text Greg with the result and he sends a new one in the mail the next day. He's an incredibly nice guy and so down to earth. Reinstalled and works great. This light is perfectly bright against a white background and the amber color has a beautiful tint that is not too bright but brings lightness to the night. Thank you Gregory!
