Housing OK, but poor threading technique
Turned out exactly how it should have been. The thread cutting in the case is rubbish. The sewage port is by far the worst. I had to wrap about a quarter mile of thread tape around the fitting to make it feel like it could seal. Luckily it's not a pressure line (other than a check valve and flow restrictor), I'll find out how bad it is in the next few days when I can fit it. There is a possibility that I glue it together
