Review on Enhance Car Security with Keyless2Go: New Keyless Entry Remote Car Key for HYQ12BDM Equipped Vehicles with G Chip by Abdulkarim Sugge

Very happy! It worked!

We lost one of the keys to a 2014 Toyota Camry. We wanted two keys so we had to replace the lost key. Our local Toyota dealer listed $232.26 for a new key, plus $54 for programming, plus taxes and "shop fees". The total cost through the dealer would be around $290. We bought this Keyless2Go replacement for $29.95 and no taxes. Our local locksmith (we live in a small town in eastern West Virginia) couldn't program it (he didn't have the necessary software and hardware), but he recommended a locksmith in a town 25 miles away who could program it for $50 . Instead of driving 50 miles round trip I decided to have it programmed at our Toyota dealership. They charged $65 plus taxes and fees for a total of $78.28. My total key and programming cost was $108.23, which saved me about $182 compared to the $290 the dealer originally wanted. Using a local locksmith would have saved me an additional $30, but for the sake of simplicity I decided to have the dealer program it. The new key works perfectly. Tip: Make sure the battery in your master key is good. Mine was weak (I knew about it and wanted to replace it anyway) and the dealer couldn't program a new key until they replaced the battery in my master key. Another tip: as others have said, make sure the letter (G) on the new key matches the letter on your master key. If you have a G-Key, be sure to buy a G-Key.
