This small orbital air sander is ideal for small spaces. I service all of my family's cars and look out for rust that I see on the undercarriage. Ohio winters can be pretty harsh on a car due to the chemicals used here. I needed a tool small enough to fit in the tight space under the car and strong enough to quickly remove the rust stain. This one fits so far. The adjustable speed is handy to soften it up a bit when it's under the car. I can adapt it to what I'm doing. You can see this adjustable speed in the short video I uploaded. I didn't bother to put the sanding pad on it in the video, which is why you can't see it. It doesn't say how the airflow should be. I just ran my 120psi compressor and it worked fine. Like all pneumatic grinders, this is an air drill. I'm a do-it-yourselfer and have a regular 20 gallon compressor. It works well. But it also loops well. I have the same problem with some other air tools like brake bleeders. But it's working, so I keep going but only taking breaks when I need to catch up. It has nothing to do with the quality of this tool other than knowing what compressor you have to run it. I remember reading in the list that this tool can be used to sand wood. I would never recommend using it on a tree. The air outlet comes out at the very front and blows on whatever you're working on. All air tools need air tool oil, and this one does too. He spits that oil on everything you work on. I'm also a woodworker and that's the worst thing you can do to your project. It won't sharpen or get dirty and might just mess it up. It actually spits a lot less, if at all, after you've oiled it and run it for a while. I think if you want to take a risk then do it. I personally would just use something else to get the job done. Basically, I like the tool. Good air grinder for the price.
