The 1999 Cherokee XJ offers excellent value for money. I save over $100 compared to buying an OEM. Fits perfectly, connector looks (most likely) OEM. I lost pressure in the fuel rail which made the jeep difficult to start. After replacing the fuel pump, it starts immediately. Putting down the fuel tank was certainly "fun". One of the long belt bolts was broken, although I had smeared it with penetrating grease a couple of times beforehand. But otherwise everything went smoothly. I suggest asking a friend for help reinstalling. Make sure the tank is almost empty. I had to drain the gas from the vent after taking it out of the jeep to lift it into place. The gas fill hole has some sort of anti-hose (which deters people from stealing gas I think) in the larger gas fill hole. I couldn't get hose to do this, so I used a smaller vent. Note. The fuel pump arrived well packaged.
