Several reviews mention that the comb is too tight and I found that to be true of the comb I received. It's difficult to install but more worried about the possibility that it might break. I used a utility knife to scrape off a small "protrusion" or fang, although I saw a review that suggested using a file, which I think would probably work. better. Also, keep in mind that long hair with large combs easily sits straight and doesn't get cut. I use my fingers or another comb with my free hand to lift my hair so it's trimmed. Then I go over it again with scissors to cut off the few remaining long hairs.
