does the job! in spares

Put this heat shield around my starter motor on my 49 foot street train with headers and it really helped block the radiant heat coming from those headers. it does not absorb heat. Warm up! but protects the starter/solinoid. Very EASY to install with velcro, I actually added some "stainless steel" wraps for extra measurement. GREAT PRODUCT at a reasonable price!
