Revainrating 5 out of 5

Beyond praise! The product definitely deserves your attention.

A great new laptop that will last for several years. Suitable for daily use/Internet surfing/battery-free battery life/movie watching and simple tasks.

Pros
  • 1. Lack of built-in coolers for cooling. The laptop does not make any sound, extraneous noise. 2. Maintaining the high value of the laptop in the used market. Still, Apple laptops are not subject to such a strong fall as other competitors. 4. Ultra-fast integration into the Apple ecosystem. With Apple TV, iPhone, Apple Watch, communication between devices is ultra-fast, reliable, with minimal setup. 5. The volume and quality of the speakers. The sound is very powerful and spacious for such a thin laptop. This is what I didn't expect. 6. The trackpad is really really cool. It is convenient to manage fingers and gestures, but not yet familiar. I deliberately don't buy a mouse to learn how to control the trackpad 100%.
Cons
  • There are also disadvantages: 1. Lack of various standard ports: USB-A, HDMI. This is not very convenient if suddenly you are a fan of various technical gadgets. The problem is solved by buying various hubs. But they also cost a lot of money. I do not advise saving on such things, because. You will combine them with an expensive laptop and the issue of information transfer / power supply must be of high quality. 2. Inadequate Apple's policy regarding the increase in prices for increasing the built-in memory. Paying extra +30% of the cost of a laptop to get an unfortunate 512GB, I think it's a completely unjustified decision. There is a simple way out - buying an external SSD. It costs much less, while you can choose a super-compact model. Personally, I will take a Samsung SSD T5 for 1 TB. 3. It takes time to adapt to iOS. I am not familiar with the structure of this system on laptops, so I have to learn it slowly.
