I've been a freelance web developer for almost twenty years and have traveled extensively and worked remotely over the last few years. The problem I always run into is that I really need an extra monitor for the type of work I do. Although I have a few extra monitors, it's not very convenient to take those large, power-hungry screens with me when I'm working remotely. This Duex Plus is very suitable for my travel and remote work needs. It attaches to my laptop with the included magnets and when inserted it hardly adds to the size of the travel laptop which is a big plus. The only issue I had is with the setup and software used to run the second monitor. I use it on Mac OS and the installation was quite cumbersome. I've had to install and uninstall the software multiple times to get it working, and even now it's a little buggy. Sometimes for no apparent reason he sees three monitors in my display settings and the second doesn't work at all. Multiple reboots are usually required to resolve the issue. I hope that a software update will fix this particular problem soon. Otherwise it works quite well.
