I'm the first to admit that my reviews tend to be extremely wordy and probably overly detailed, no matter how much I tell myself I'm just getting to the point. I won't do that in this review, because you can't really say much about memory cards, at least as far as I know. I have a brief interesting tidbit of information and experience that I shared despite finding out about this purchase. I was recently searching through this box of random items in my closet and found my Samsung digital camera which I haven't used in a while. One of my sons showed an interest in photography and asked if he could get a camera as I obviously don't use it anymore. I want to encourage the growth of his positive hobbies and interests so of course I agreed and gave him a black camera. Without a memory card, you can only take and store about 3 photos on the device, so I knew I had to order one for him. When it arrived and I installed it in the camera, I turned on the camera and immediately got angry because the 'card reader error' kept popping up and asking me to restart the camera and I was stuck in this annoying loop . I knew I had put the card in correctly because it went in easily with no resistance and the SD card, at least in this camera, only fits one way, which is the right way, so it won't even be possible to install them . wrong unless you force it. I spent about 30 minutes trying to figure out what was going on and tried uninstalling and then reinstalling it multiple times. Long story short, I literally took the card out of the camera to throw it in my "garbage box" for ruining it, and then I noticed that there was an ultra-thin transparent film on the metal parts of the card found. The SD card you want the camera to read. My camera couldn't read the card because of this foil, but after I removed it everything worked exactly as it should. What's weird is that I have no idea where this film came from because I don't think it was part of the package. Basically, I'm telling you this as a lesson to just be vigilant about things like this. If you are having a similar card swiping problem, make sure there is nothing preventing the device from swiping the card. My camera is 12MP, which means you can store up to 35,000 photos on a 128GB SD card! This is great encouragement and exercise for my son! In other words, I totally failed NOT to be wordyβ¦. - sigh
