As you can see from the photos this is a very small stand that fits my iPhone 7 Plus perfectly and also the iPad. I have an iPad Pro 9.7 which you can see in pictures 3 and 4. It supports it with the lid on, so the tabs hold the iPad with the lid on. Images 5 and 6 show the iPad Pro 12.9 and support it very well.
