I like that it weighs enough to remain stable when my tablet is in the holder. I have a Fire 8 tablet with a fairly thick protective rubber case that's lightweight, and that metal (not plastic) stand doesn't even suggest it's going to tip over even on impact! He's fat, so he's strong (relatively). Also love the non-slip rubber pads on the bottom, try sliding on a table or tabletop and it won't budge! (That is a good thing). iPhone/iPad stand used daily 2 Oct - 6/12/18

Good. I have an iPad Pro 9.7 which you can see in pictures 3 and 4. It supports it with the lid on, so the tabs hold the iPad with the lid on. Images 5 and 6 show the iPad Pro 12.9 and support it very well. While this will work, I don't have a case for it as I have a military case and it's very bulky, but the stand will hold it. Stand for iPhone/iPad was daily from 10.02. used until 12/18/18

As you can see from the photos this is a very small stand that fits my iPhone 7 Plus perfectly and also the iPad. I have an iPad Pro 9.7 which you can see in pictures 3 and 4. I travel to Asia and/or Europe for business 4 times a year for 23 weeks and need a 'mobile office' with my 15.4" MBP laptop and my external portable 15.6" Inch GeChic display.
