I travel to Asia and/or Europe for business 4 times a year for 23 weeks and need a 'mobile office' with my 15.4" MBP laptop and my external portable 15.6" Inch GeChic display. I need constant access to the company's ERP, website and large spreadsheets when I'm on the road, so I travel with this type of gear. I prefer to elevate my laptop at an angle with a portable and foldable laptop stand and decided to try this stand to elevate my external display. I wasn't expecting this little stand to support a 1.5 pound display or my 12.9 inch iPad Pro. solid, but with no problems The two pivot points stay in place with the display installed and I have to say I'm very impressed. Now I can lift the MBP and external display side by side and work in a hotel room like work or in a home office where I have a 27" iMac and a 32" external display. Side.
