At first the spray can worked fine. About 9 months after installation, the toilet was unused for a month while I was away. When I came back the bowl ball was stuck to the valve seat so tight that the threaded piece on top pulled out when I tried to flush. I had to pull the ball out by hand and the rubber on the tank ball stuck to the valve seat. It took a lot of Scotchbrite scraping to get the saddle clean enough to mount the new tank ball on. The included threaded lift rod is only about 4 inches long, too short for my 60 year old toilet. Luckily the old rod was still in good condition.
