Bead Remover - Toilet Parts

Installed 3 months ago. During this time it became more difficult to flush because the ball would get stuck in the saddle. The ball feels all sticky and the part that sits in the saddle wears out. I use chlorine tablets in the tank but I don't think they should dissolve the gum.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Almost OK

Not good for rough plumbing

I installed this product 3 days ago, couldn't properly submerge and close it, hence the toilet is dripping and leaking. I've cleaned the part it sits in for corrosion or clogging but found nothing out of the ordinary. Tossed this product this morning and replaced it with Harvey's Tank Ball - and no problems since.

Pros
  • Great for small households
Cons
  • Somewhat wrinkled

Fits perfectly! fits toilet parts

This is the third item I have bought for an old toilet. Works fine but be careful with bleach or other chemicals in the tank. After a year I noticed that the old one no longer seals properly, water leaks and the toilet runs constantly. I'm sure the chemicals in those "pills" from the tank have worn down the rubber. Besides, it's okay.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • expensive

Useless useless piece of crap

As you can see in the picture the place where the conductor is supposed to screw in is actually inserted into the rubber on the side of the center hole which costs $7. useless, useless piece of shit. To add insult to injury, Revane says it's non-refundable, so I lost $11 (I paid for next-day shipping), literally NOTHING. Avoid this POC and this POC seller at all costs! Would give this negativity a few million stars if I could.

Not long enough.: Rough plumber

At first the spray can worked fine. About 9 months after installation, the toilet was unused for a month while I was away. When I came back the bowl ball was stuck to the valve seat so tight that the threaded piece on top pulled out when I tried to flush. I had to pull the ball out by hand and the rubber on the tank ball stuck to the valve seat. It took a lot of Scotchbrite scraping to get the saddle clean enough to mount the new tank ball on. The included threaded lift rod is only about 4…

Exactly! - Parts for the toilet

Harvey has been making great headphones for years but they don't make them anymore (maybe they don't work now). Others on Revain have commented on the purchase of Harvey's tank ball. Well, since I couldn't get my hands on Harvey, I tried this one. It does the job. Buy with confidence. This one will not let you down. I bought it two weeks ago for about the same price but without the "sleeve" underneath, and it was a piece of complete junk with walls as thin as carbon paper. It's not worth…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Good but not great

Unreliable junk. Don't waste your $$$

I bought one of these almost exactly a year ago to replace the ball valve in my 1920's toilet. The previous damper was used for more than ten years before it wore out. This damper wore out in just over a year. When I went to flush the toilet today, it was installed 13 months ago, there was no flush. Puzzled, I removed the cover and saw that the rod had partially pulled the entire bolt out of the breech. Good. I thought I got lucky because I bought a second one to have on hand after the first…
