I've had Otterbox on my iPhone 3 for 5 years. It was a bit bulky but great! So when I bought a new iPod touch, I knew I wanted an Otterbox again. This Otterbox is similar in that it has two plastic pieces that snap together and a silicone piece that slides open on top. Bought gray and white. It's a true bright white and classic gray. This Otterbox is pretty thin, which is good and bad. That's good because it's better to have a thinner phone to hold on to. This is bad because I put my case on and off a lot (to put it in the bandage) and the plastic breaks easily. My last Otterbox was almost impossible to break. I could pull at it all day. This one seems a lot thinner, but not as thin as the ones I've seen. The silicone is nice and soft but has some texture so it's easy to grip. I hated the screen protector. It didn't stick to my screen, there was a small gap between them that I could feel every time I pressed. He didn't react the way I'd like - I had to push hard. The good thing is that the protective film is VERY easy to remove. Open the cover and poke your fingernail in the corner where the protective film is stuck inside the plastic case and remove it. I also read in the reviews that the cover is difficult to remove. It's not true if you know what you're doing. I can open it in seconds. Press the top latch, and then open the sides. I've been opening Otterbox cases for years, but even for a beginner it shouldn't take "7-8 minutes".
