Good quality budget speakers without much upgrade.

When I bought my used car, the previous owner removed all the sound systems from it. I bought these speakers as a temporary replacement until I was ready to invest in some quality audio components. I wanted something of acceptable quality but as cheap as possible. I bought 6.5" and 4x6 speakers for my car (Nissan 240sx) and installed them with speaker adapters. Honestly I'm shocked by the sound quality for these things. Total investment of $26 for 4 speakers, the sound is loud enough. ( loud enough to overcome the wheeze and straight 3" exhaust on this car.) and the sound quality isn't too bad. Yes, audiophiles, stay away. But for the rest of us who just need speakers, mid-im The frequencies are actually quite well articulated in the high and low frequency ranges. The bass was decent, the mids sound relatively clear, distortion only occurs at around 75% volume (on my stereo head unit without an external amplifier), but the highs are simple just horrendous distortion kicks in very early on, doesn't sound very good initially and there's a definite crackle in the tweeters I'd recommend cutting the tweeters out of this thing and the real tweeter where connect differently if you want wow improve the sound. it said. You can get better speakers for the upgrade price, so not sure if those sound performances aren't acceptable. In short, if you have very old speakers, blown speakers or no speakers at all in your car, this is a great value for putting sound back into your car. It's never going to sound great, but they do the job well enough. Also, if you listen to bass-heavy music, you might find this more beneficial than someone like me who enjoys music with a lot of high-frequency material.
