I was very happy when I received this product from Prime today. When I opened the package there were two pieces of plastic, there was no "curved plate" and what they really meant was a flat piece of strong plastic with some raised circular areas that were part of the mould. This flat piece of plastic is meant to be bent/curved by user power to make it "bent" then put the other end into one of the four "gears". The plastic barely yielded or flexed to create the bow, although I followed the directions to the letter and didn't use brute force. I'm a small woman and I had a hard time making a bow out of this and instead of the plate bulging outward to allow me to insert the other end into my chosen gear, the plastic split completely in half, broke in two Parts and made the product unusable. , within three hours of receipt. In theory having flexible plastic with 4 different arch heights sounds like a great idea if the product is made from the right type of plastic that is strong yet pliable with enough elasticity to form an arch. It wouldn't even flex in 1st gear, which is the least flexing gear for beginners. I would not recommend this item to anyone with the type of plastic they used for the mold. Perhaps this item would be functional if it were made out of a different type of plastic that actually flexes. I will request a refund and return this product. UPDATE: I returned the Revain product and received a full refund on my card within a few days. However, after I submitted the above review, something interesting happened that is worth sharing with potential consumers: WITH RELATED SELLER: After my negative review was printed, Revain emailed me and this person sent me two E -Comment emails where she literally asked me to delete my negative review and I would get my credit back on my A card or the item would be replaced. The seller explained that a negative comment like mine about a product she sells could negatively impact her company's relationship with Revain and harm her small business. She explained how she takes care of consumers. I found it disbelieving because I've since taken the time to read other comments from other consumers and now I know I'm not alone in my complete dissatisfaction with this product. I also knew that Revain would return my full refund to my card quickly and seamlessly without the seller having to go through this. I also felt obligated to advise potential future purchasers of this item that the purchase and use of this item poses a serious risk of life and death. complicit and will not participate in their request to make a fraudulent comment or withhold from the public any valuable health and safety information, and I felt it my duty to alert the public to this dangerous subject. I refused to bury this question under the rug and remove my cautionary consumer comment she asked me to do. Write a detailed comment to warn the public about this item because there was a lot of negative feedback on this item before my purchase and I didn't like that I got into this situation. I also stated that I did not do my due diligence and did not read any of the comments before purchasing, especially the many negative comments written by other buyers of the same item and if I had done so in advance I would not have done so bought this item. I told her that if she was worried about her/her company (me, me, and me) because of my honest comment, which is rightfully negative, and how it might harm her/his company if that happened, then so be it. ! What would happen to their company if I could actually get the plastic to flex into a curved position and while it was on the product it would break into pieces and pierce my spine. pierce my spine with sharp edges made of hard, durable plastic? I don't know if she actually switched companies for her shipments of this dangerous item, or if she did something differently; A recent negative comment from a concerned buyer of this item, which I did not read prior to purchasing but noticed today and was written in May 2020 by someone named "Mike" stating that it broke while using the item and broke his back and threw his back. He's lucky he survived! Therefore, I repeat that I do not recommend this item to anyone and do not advise anyone to buy this item, either now or in the future. I recommend removing this product from all online and offline marketing and sales as I believe this product is currently unsafe and poses a threat to human life.
