Darker than the original. This initially produced an almost unbearable rumble. I almost sent it back, but after a few days the noise was mostly gone. Was looking for an answer to the buzzing of the LEDs and there is no explanation for that in any of the information. Perhaps in two days the connections took root better. Dimmer than the halogen version is tolerable, as it hardly heats up and is much more efficient. In any case, they are mainly for emphasis.
