The app was easy for me as an amateur pilot to understand. I can see what my drone sees, but it's also extremely intuitive when flying with other drones or manned aircrafts. It has been difficult to get this product out into the general public since its inception due to limited resources (funding). However, we have gotten some great feedback from our customers who are now able to fly their own UAVs safely while maintaining situational awareness. We're still working through all the kinks with the system including battery management issues. There should be no lag time between commands given by either myself or another person controlling the quadcopter. Currently there is a lot of latency which makes communication difficult. Also, with our current setup, if someone loses control of the quadcopter during takeoff/landing they will lose altitude quickly and crash land. If you've never flown before, this program may not make sense.
