I originally ordered this product almost a month ago. (I ordered two packs of Lemon Lavender Lip Balm.) When I received it I was very disappointed. The smell was definitely unpleasant, it smelled a bit like lemon but not lavender at all, and it smelled overwhelmingly of beeswax(?). I think that's the best way to describe it? But it was pretty annoying. The actual texture of the product was very dry and difficult to apply. But based on other reviews I realized that there must be something wrong with the particular batch I received. It is totally understandable that with homemade products there is a chance that they are different and sometimes just a bad batch! However, a few days after receiving the package, I received an email asking if I was satisfied with the product and I explained to them the problems I was having with my shipment. The lady I emailed was more than understanding and SO sweet and immediately offered to send me a fresh batch of Lemon Lavender along with some other lip balms to try. About four days later I received my new order! I ended up with my original purchase (2 lavender lemons), honey balm, lime and coconut, orange ginger, cinnamon and cloves (1 each). And I have to say that these are all wonderful products. They all smell AMAZING and they all smell exactly like their name so no surprises or disappointments. The texture is soft to the touch, melts and absorbs well into the lips and doesn't feel greasy at all. My lips feel extremely hydrated and I have not had any complaints since purchasing these new products. I definitely believe the first batch I received was just a mix of the formula! So no big deal. Overall, this company offers great customer service, offers great products, and is definitely worth your time and money (especially considering how amazing the prices are!). I had a great shopping experience at beessential. I will definitely be buying more lip balms when they run out!
