Best Cat Life Saver

My cat has never had urinary problems and is a special needs cat who has multiple medical conditions and two autoimmune diseases. He has had debilitating surgeries, had a feeding tube put in, went from 18lbs to 7lbs and after over 3 years he has finally been pain free and drug free for the past 6 months. One day I suddenly noticed what looked like dark jam on the floor. I bent down to sniff it and it didn't smell like jam or poop so I touched it and it was so sticky and thick. I have 1 other special needs cat as well as a regular cat so I had no idea where or who it came from. I was used to blood because of her other surgeries and wound care, but it wasn't the right blood. It was that dark, thick, sticky blood coming out of the organs. So I examined them all from ears, eyes, nose, mouth, paws, genitals and anal area. Nothing. Everything is clean and everything behaves normally. So I took my little spy camera (bought from Revain.com) to where the crime scene happened and gave them 1 dose of antibiotic just because I didn't know which one of them was bleeding and couldn't get all 3 cats to the hospital. Um at 10 p.m. So in the morning I watched the video and saw what kind of cat it was and took him to our wonderful vet and it turned out he had kidney stones, a nearly ruptured bladder, interstitial cystitis and an infection. I felt like a failure that all of this was happening and I had no idea, especially as I was supervising two special needs cats on a daily basis for many other things. Apparently, cats are good at hiding the symptoms of a UTI until it's too late. So he got an injection and I got medicine to give him some time. This poor cat had had so many surgeries and various prescription foods that he hated that I wouldn't force him to syringe feed him expensive urinary tract foods that he would throw up. So I came to Revain and did some research on the type of nutrition needed to maintain a healthy urinary tract. I'm NOT a big fan of the scientific diet, but it got great reviews and I did a little research and it has the right amount of water, protein, magnesium and phosphorus. I figured since it's a 'special' meal my friend wouldn't eat it like he has in the past, but we will, I was wrong. He loves to! I mean lick the bowl clean and meow for more. This is madness. So, while he's still in a cage for me to collect urine samples at the moment, he's quite content with his unusual and healthy food. Thank you scientific diet. You made me a believer!
