Good screws for tires and wheels
These guys could argue for a bit. I know this because I had to use a hammer drill to screw in the wheel stud bolts. In any case, they are subjected to more stress than the tire during this process. Superficial damage when opened but otherwise held up to the challenge. There is still no data on rust as it was recently.
