Good quality and looks

Sturdy construction although not one piece. I had no trouble installing them with the gorilla nutrunner which really puts the nuts to the test with its massive torque.

Pros
  • So far so good
Cons
  • Some flaws

Good screws for tires and wheels

These guys could argue for a bit. I know this because I had to use a hammer drill to screw in the wheel stud bolts. In any case, they are subjected to more stress than the tire during this process. Superficial damage when opened but otherwise held up to the challenge. There is still no data on rust as it was recently.

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • Nothing

Good quality and will not rust!

Unlike some Summit brand nuts I've seen, these are actually stainless steel. Even after a few years, they still look great on my Jeep. It was important to me to buy stainless nuts because they are visible on my Cragar Soft 8 wallpaper, like I said they still look good after all this time and I zip and unzip them regularly.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Fits

I liked them for a while

I bought these nuts thinking they were one piece to replace crappy factory nuts that were falling apart. They are better made than factory nuts, but they are not one piece. After 2.5 years they begin to decay. I've already had a problem with one that required a hammer and some wrenches to remove. Now I buy new nuts.

Pros
  • Useful for more than their intended purpose
Cons
  • Appearance

A good product. Worry about the fit.

After Goodyear rounded up the OEM nuts on my Magnum, I got them as recommended on LXForums.com. The only possible issues are: 1. The conical contact surface is a little smaller in diameter than the OEM nuts, raising concerns about proper clamping force, and 2. I need a second socket in the machine as they are a size smaller than OEM -nuts. no problem if corrected before the next apartment!

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Factor set

No better than the OEM nuts I replace

I have a 2005 Dodge Magnum and the stock nuts are two piece. In many cases, the outer shell separates from the nut itself, making removal very difficult and also requiring the carrying of power strips. Dodge charges around $8-9 for a nut and that adds up quickly. I bought these replacement nuts because the description specifically stated that they were a one-piece construction*. You are not. I replaced the nuts on the front wheels and two of those nuts came loose. I use hand tools, not…

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Protection
