works right out of the box. but

I picked this KVM switch over others that got better feedback from users just because it's one of the few that supports keyboard shortcut switching. KVM's design is good and you save 1 USB port on each PC/Laptop as it combines USB keyboard and USB mouse in one USB port on your PC. No setup required, I just plugged in the cables and it worked right away. Switching is also very easy, all you have to do is double-click the control button on your keyboard. The only negative thing about this KVM is when the monitor is connected to a PC without KVM. The picture is crystal clear and the text is very clear. When the monitor is connected to KVM and then to the PC, the picture is not crystal clear. The difference is pretty obvious, especially when trying to read small text. I have a 23" LCD screen and bought this KVM to connect my work laptop and occasionally work from home. but to my disappointment this KVM sometimes makes it very difficult to read emails and small text.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Can I add something
