For reference I'm 5'4 1/2" and am currently in a size 7/8. I ordered the medium in Green. Fit perfect.I wasn't sure what to think of this style but I love the dress after seeing it and trying it on. It has enough stretch to be comfortable when dancing. It's fairly heavy as a dress so it feels quality in that respect.I imagine the sequins will rub in a few spots after wearing it for a few hours but none appeared to on a quick try on and dance around the living room. There is enough stretch to allow me to do the dances I am comfortable with doing, but long strides could be confined.I had a chuckle when trying on and the bottom sheer had moved. I recalled a reviewer somewhere saying they wished it was a bit longer or attached so it didn't ride or I'd have probably been wondering what was wrong with the dress. Instead I just adjusted the sheer so it lined back up. It didn't appear to move once in place.My fiance loves the dress and can't wait for us to go somewhere I can wear it.
