Review on TAC Force Utility Backpack Woodland by Chris Wyffels

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Hello school, a hiking backpack with a removable inner frame, no struggle.

TAC Force Web The Tac Utility backpack was sufficiently different from the product description/specs and photos that I had to downgrade my rating. This task. Overall this is a good product, it just depends on individual needs. Also, this isn't the best price for this item or similar items (which usually include a hydration bladder). I just needed it fast and Revain is reliable for that, which is why I paid a bit more for this type of product. Okay, let's start with how it differs from the photo/description and more specifics on some of those mentioned. Which isn't so bad. Removable/hidden padded inner frame in a hidden pocket in the main compartment behind the laptop sleeve. Features an internal padded pocket for a 9.5 x 11 x 1.5 laptop in the main compartment. Overall dimensions (including external pockets) 14 W x 19 H x 7.5 D. Has 4 closed hydration tubes/earmuffs/ports. It has a large, flat, hidden external pocket between the back panel and the backpack. Main compartment 10x19x5. Mesh pocket 9x5x1 in the main compartment with a zipper. Upper outer compartment 10x7x2.5. There are 4 elastic loops in the upper outer compartment, large enough for pistol magazines. Lower outer compartment 10x11x2.5. The inner lower outer compartment has a continuous back panel with Velcro closure. Inside the lower outer compartment is a removable Velcro stationery organizer with a padded phone pocket and an additional padded pocket. There is a built-in latch/key loop in the lower outer compartment. Two outer side compartments 8x5x2. Two side open outer pockets 8x5x0.1 between the side outer compartments and the main compartment. All compartments/pockets have drainage holes with eyelets, except for the side ones. MOLLE/PAL also on the bottom of the backpack. All straps have clasps. There's no removable, padded waistbelt, instead a 1-inch-wide, flat waistbelt is attached (like a car's seatbelt), but there's still room to stow. No buckles/straps over the side pockets. No top strap adjustment. The zipper is not metal, just paracord. The shoulder and waist straps are no longer reinforced. That's why I don't like the backpack. N- Single stitch at some critical points. N- No detachable padded hip belt, instead a 2.5 cm wide, flat hip belt (like a seat belt in a car). N- No buckles/straps over side pockets. N- The shoulder and waist straps are no longer reinforced. N- Two 8 x 5 x 0.1 external side open pockets between the external side pockets and main compartment instead of open bottoms for carrying long handled tools (that's what the buckles/straps above the side pockets are for.) like shovel, ax etc. Looks like it , as if the original design was for tactical/combat purposes, but now it has become more hybrid, suitable for a good day, school, a hiking backpack with a detachable inner frame but not a combat backpack.
