This is the only floating hold I've tried with my hero 6 but it works like a charm! I decided to purchase an official GoPro grip after reading reviews of other grips that don't keep the Hero5/6 afloat. I can say with confidence that this thing will save your GoPro from drowning. I threw it in the pool and left it there all day and it was still rocking. The orange tip is a great finishing touch as it makes it easy to spot your device! You bought a camera for $300-400. Don't make the stupid mistake of losing it at the bottom of the lake because you don't want to spend a few extra bucks!
