Not the most useful substrate for reptiles.
Sand is beautiful, easy enough to clean (for sand), has good odor neutralizing properties. I just didn't know that calcium sand is bad for reptiles, especially those I care for before going home permanently (or rehab before graduation) - as a product - great, but as a choice. Maybe not the best.
