Review on Chaco Women's Zvolv Sandal: Comfortable and Stylish Medium Women's Shoes by Nick Tucker

If possible, try them first!

So happy to find her! I started to wonder why everyone is so crazy about these shoes, but it turns out it's just a matter of figuring out which model suits me best. If you're eyeing Chaco, I highly recommend trying different ones - I've had a hard time with this given my small town's lack of shopping. Zvolv is the third pair I have ordered. First, they are significantly smaller than Classic or ZCloud. I usually wear a size 8-8.5 depending on the shoe and these fit me best in a size 8. However for the other two types I would go for a 7 if I keep them. I also tried the wide ones in the Clouds (just in case that was an issue) and they were really big in the heel and ball of the foot. The ZVolv's straps are also a little tighter, so if you have wide feet you might want to go up a size. I like the texture of the insole the most on this model - the others were a little rough on the feet and even hurt, although I think that's a preference. Another thing to consider: Zvolv have a much lower profile, making them significantly lighter. I personally found the others (classic/ZCloud) too heavy and clunky. Finally, they have a lower arch (and are actually lower on all sides) which also made them more comfortable for me. They still wrap the heel well, but the Classics and ZCloud were too contoured in the heel, arch and flanks for me - and I don't have a super flat foot. ZVolvs and FINALLY figured out that Chacos CAN come in handy for me. It just took a lot of research, money, and possible profit, so if you get the chance, try it first! But I will wear them this summer :)
