It's worth it, but keep in mind that the back cover will pop out if dropped.
Exactly what we needed, no real setup required. I just put the batteries in and it was ready to go, turning on the TV without having to enter any codes or anything. I don't like that the back cover is VERY easy to remove. It falls to the ground and immediately pops out with a battery or two. A serious safety issue when you have a toddler.
