United Airlines broke my luggage handle and removed 3 owner tags and the airline tag. As a result, within a week my bag traveled from Detroit to Belgium, to Puerto Vallarta and finally home to San Francisco. The airline did not help locate the bag, in fact they still believe it is lost. We were saved because my wife put a huge piece of paper inside with all our contact information. A nice woman from Mexico called us and handed over the bag. So I researched interchangeable pens. It wasn't an exact match and I had to use my handicraft skills to fit it in my bag, but it worked out great. I had to dismantle what was left of the old handle. I could use one hole on each side but I had to drill a different hole to make it work. Total time was about 10 minutes. This new handle fits the look and looks even nicer. It's incredibly durable, much better than the old pen. Antelede would have had to tear off the entire lid of the suitcase to lose it again. It comes with the screws and washers you need.
