My 5 year old loved it. She first saw it in a YouTube video. She is very interested in science. It didn't scare her. Soft organs did not disgust them. She knew what she was doing! The product is great. The fluff sticks to the organs, but is easily washed off or torn off with your fingers. I found the collarbone/rib cage didn't fit very well when we put them together. However, it stays in place quite well. Same goes for the stomach and liver, I just can't get them to line up properly. I recommend taking a picture of it before you take it apart for the first time to help with that. What can I say, I'm not a surgeon! Assembly instructions are included but pictures of some organ placements do not show enough detail to really explain exact placement. But that's where it all comes together! Young children will need help putting the internal organs back in place as they are sticky and difficult to install, but overall this is a fun activity that teaches anatomy. I saved the plastic wrap from the packaging to cover the belly area when reassembling so nothing falls out when placed on the stand. You can do the same.
