    Jeff, where's your liver, brother?

I bought this as a gift for my 10 year old who currently wants to be a doctor (I say currently because she wanted a vet a quarter of her life ago. Kids are so indecisive these days). I was like, "She's going to love this!" And oh my god, it doesn't disappoint! She named him Jeff and quickly prepped Jeff for the organ transplant (thanks UNOS!). The problem is that we couldn't cross and bring Jeff together because he doesn't have blood or veins and arteries. Jeff is in really bad shape right now…

    Good Anatomy Activity

My 5 year old loved it. She first saw it in a YouTube video. She is very interested in science. It didn't scare her. Soft organs did not disgust them. She knew what she was doing! The product is great. The fluff sticks to the organs, but is easily washed off or torn off with your fingers. I found the collarbone/rib cage didn't fit very well when we put them together. However, it stays in place quite well. Same goes for the stomach and liver, I just can't get them to line up properly. I…

Successful anatomy studies at the home school!

I think the pictures say a lot! I've attached some. We are a homeschooling family and this was one of three items I purchased for our anatomy department. It was a hit! It comes with an organizer (for storing disassembled parts), assembly and disassembly instructions for the model, and a textbook explaining each organ, in addition to the softest model. We read the brochure (the first two organs), we watched a YouTube video of these two organs to complete the lesson, and then we cut these two…

    Pros
    • Look in the book See what happens when a slice of pizza travels through your body
    Cons
    • Not bad

Would like to start with I say that the organs are fantastic. Kids love them because they are disgustingly realistic, soft and well made. However, the clear plastic case is terribly cheaply made. It is heavily displaced and will hardly close without all the bones, muscles and organs in it. And with them inside, it doesn't fully lock into place. If you manage to align some tabs, others will appear out of place. We've been trying tediously all evening to get it working, but to no avail. We…
