The original ultra-thin connector had faulty loose connectors. My original LG Ultrafine had a loose Thunderbolt 3 port that eventually broke, and since the first ultra-thin model only had a Thunderbolt 3 USB-C port, it became unusable. LG has come up with something and put two Thunderbolt 3 USB C ports, a larger screen size albeit a lower resolution in this new ultra-thin model. Best monitor for the price and the stand is amazing. Color accuracy and picture quality are second to none, and this is the best monitor you can get (other than a 27-inch) that isn't a $5,000 Apple Pro monitor. The lack of a webcam on a monitor in this price range is still very frustrating.
