I put a new bulb in the high power light, turned on the light and a red glass bulb popped out of the bulb's metal base. Fortunately, the glass flask did not explode into the turtle's body, the glass completely detached from the metal base and did not break. I've never had any problems with bulbs, I've always been satisfied, I assume that these rattled during transport or had a small defect. That happens, and two days later I ordered a new one because I've always been satisfied before. Just to note that if the flask falls/explodes on the turtle, it could be dangerous. Replaced coco fiber pads, in case toxic dust settled weakly on the fiber pads, $60 may have overreacted, but it is better to be careful. This is NOT a bad review! Just to note that I had one blown bulb out of eight purchased. I leave them on twenty-four hours a day and suggest keeping a spare bulb in case the next order arrives in a day or two during the colder months.
