This 35mm lens is probably your best bet if you only buy a Rokinon lens. If you're serious about the quality of your footage, this is what you need. The 35mm lens lets you shoot at both normal distances and great close-ups, and it delivers nice out-of-focus blur in both modes. Always use a support with this lens. It is not suitable for handheld shooting. With clearly marked numbers and the longest body in the Rokinon line, it's also one of the most impressive pieces of glass you can mount on a camera. That being said, a 35mm lens that offers the same cinematic look as a telephoto lens (without compressing the space behind the subject) is probably every filmmaker's dream. Here it is.
