It has 4 starts, so be sure to check that the metal plate your mount attaches to matches the inside diameter of the kit's plastic cover. It's a "must have" because it's a standard size. However, after painting the cap and plugging in the light, I found that I had to sand the plastic cap a bit to get the gap to fit. The cap is molded at the factory and the 'tongues' from that process are left in place. Don't forget to loop them from the inside of the cap and you will be golden.
