UPDATE 11/20/17: Potential DANGER. After using this water dispenser for 3 months, I noticed small metal splinters in my water glasses. . Trust me it's silver paint coming from inside / destruction of the metal plastic tube. Instruct users to keep an eye out for moving metal fragments (which neither float nor sink to the bottom) after the water has been poured. I don't see anything in the dispenser, but after pouring it into a clean glass, there are fragments. (See attached photos and videos.) I sent an email to ZeroWater; They were very active and asked me to send the nozzle in for inspection and offered a replacement. A+ for customer service. Pros: Stunning design, metal base and lid, glass center. Looks great in the kitchen. Cons: Poor quality control - the glass had blisters on the outside and a vertical crack that luckily didn't extend to the inside, so it's structurally sound. The spout is plastic and has the same problem as the previous spout on the other ZeroWater dispenser. The pouring speed is painfully slow - a trickle. Apparently this is caused by the vacuum created when the top is closed. As I lifted the white plastic container, the flow rate increased dramatically. Perhaps future iterations should include an air hole at the top of the white tank to prevent a vacuum from building. Drill a hole in the top of the white tank to see if that helps.
