
The reason for changing the processor was the need to increase the power of the PC for games. I had an i7 4790, a very old processor that was 100% loaded in some games. I assembled a computer for 11600k, went into the same game and was very surprised to see the processor load of 80%. Yes, it is more powerful than the old i7, but the performance gain is clearly not the one that the reviewers are talking about. In real conditions, the situation is worse.
